Hello...Anyone There?

I know...I've been MIA...BIG TIME! It's been a wild-wild-wild crazy few weeks. Lots of ups and down and downs and ups. Dealing with my sister-in-law's passing, my husband flying back and forth to California to take care of her 4 kids (they have no family or father...and there's a big possibility that I'll go from a mother of 5 to 9 shortly) , swine flu, homecoming, kids sports, school, church commitments...you know, the drill.

I've realized that I'm in the thick of life! I'm potty training 2 kids, teaching one to tie his shoes and another to drive. So yeah, that's my excuse. I'll be back into the blogging world tomorrow...or Wednesday....okay, at least by Friday.

I'm still the luckiest mom in the world!

Wow, my heart just aches for those children.

You have a lot on your plate of life right now.

What amazing people you and your husband must be and what a blessing that they have someone like you and your husband!!

Praying for you and your extended family!

You know, when family things come up I realize how trivial my blogging time can be. It's a fun thing to do, a great escape, and sometimes can even be helpful and therapeutic ... but reality is that I'm a mom and my family's needs ALWAYS come first. If I'm lucky enough to have some leftover time I might blog about about it. I've been absent from my blog for a couple of months, and I'm just now starting back. I think it's amazing that any of us moms ever have time to get online! And WOW ... for you to possibly become a mom of nine ... what a blessing you are! Keep us posted when you can ... in the meantime hug the family for me! Y'all are in my prayers.

Tara -
So sorry about your sister-in-law. What a hard thing for your family to go through - especially her kids. I hope things work out and you'll be back on top soon.

Luv ya,
Kara

Tara! Oh my word! I will be praying for you as you face such a huge transition. You will have to tell us more as you can. Those poor kids losing their mom and having the father absent. Thank GOD you are in their lives! But you will need support!

Hello sweet Tara - I can't even begin to tell you how sorry I am for your sister-in-law's passing. I will be lifting you up in prayer as you minister to the family. God will give you and your husband the strength to do what ever it is needed. And then to have on top of that, all of the normal ever-day-life stuff to tackle. Whew! You could use more hours in your day. Just know that you're being thought of by little ol' me here in San Diego!

Blessings,
Marie

Sorry to hear about your sister-in-law. You really do have a lot on your plate right now. I agree with Linda's comment above that family needs come first, before blogging. So hang in there, and we'll just be happy to read your blog when we can. :)
